CEO of Tulalip Tribal Government Shelly Lacy brings her education and knowledge of the Tulalip Community to every position and role. Shelly creates lasting positive change with each team she leads. She sets the example for inspirational leadership and is determined to give back to the Tulalip community in all that she does.
As a Lushootseed language speaker, Shelly taught and created curriculum from the late ’90s to the early 2000s for preschool to college students. She continued her passion for educating students while serving as the Tulalip Heritage High School Principal for nine years. This opportunity allowed Shelly to develop sustainable partnerships between our tribal community, parents, students, and district staff.
Shelly returned to Tribal Government in June of 2019, serving as the Manager at BBB Beda?Chelh. Shelly is honored to serve as CEO of the Tulalip Tribal Government. Shelly supports members and employees with a systematic approach refined from years of leadership. Her understanding of growth and change are assets to the Tulalip Tribal Government. She looks forward to the years to come as the organization grows together and continues to define what it means to serve.
